A BEAUTIFUL LIFE

DESERVES A BEAUTIFUL

SEND-OFF.

Losing someone you love is fucking hard. Planning their funeral or memorial while you’re grieving can feel completely overwhelming.

That’s where I come in.

I’ll work alongside you + your family to create a farewell that feels like them — their stories, their people, their humour, their quirks + the things they loved.

My involvement can be as much or as little as you need. I can simply officiate the service, or use my event-planning experience to help you bring the whole celebration together.

You grieve. You remember. I’ll help take care of the rest.

IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE A DULL + MORBID AFFAIR.

A meaningful farewell doesn’t have to follow a formula.

It might be an intimate gathering at home, a garden party with live music, cocktails + canapés, a long lunch at their favourite vineyard, or everyone raising a glass at the pub they practically lived in.

Traditional funeral, celebration of life, memorial party or something completely different — we can create something that feels right for the person you’re there to remember.

There are no rules about what a goodbye has to look like.

HOW IT WORKS

01 — WE TALK.

After you or your funeral director gets in touch, we’ll arrange a time for me to sit down with family + friends.

There’s no stopwatch and no interrogation. You talk. I listen.

Tell me about their life, the stories everyone knows, the ones that still make you laugh, the things they loved, what drove you mad about them + what made them them.

02 — WE CREATE.

Together, we’ll work out what the farewell should look + feel like — including music, readings, tributes, family involvement, the eulogy + anything else that feels important.

I’ll then bring everything together into a ceremony that feels personal, honest + true to the person we’re celebrating.

03 — WE SAY GOODBYE.

On the day, I’ll hold the space + guide everyone through the service.

I can welcome your guests, officiate the ceremony, deliver readings, help with or deliver the eulogy + gently keep everything moving, so you don’t have to worry about what comes next.

You just get to be there.

And THEN I'd have a small section about the eulogy because that's probably one of the things grieving families are most worried about:

WHAT ABOUT THE EULOGY?

You don’t need to know how to write one. And you absolutely don’t have to stand up + deliver it if you don’t feel able to.

I can help you shape the stories + memories we’ve gathered into a beautiful tribute, whether it’s delivered by you, another family member or friend, or by me on your behalf.

It doesn’t need to sound formal or impressive.

It just needs to sound like them.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT.

YOU MIGHT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WOULD HAVE WANTED.
YOU MIGHT HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING IDEA.
EITHER IS OKAY.
WE CAN WORK IT OUT TOGETHER.
